so I want him by your side.

who can come closer to your soul than I can,

If there is a human being,
who can recognize your longing better,
who can give you what I can't,
so I want him by your side.
If there is a human being,
who you can trust more than me
and who trusts you more than I,
so I want him by your side.
If there is a human being on this planet,
who suits you better,
who simply does better to you than I can,
so I want him by your side.
If I'm not the right one,
I wish you the right one
because I love you and your happiness
is so close to my heart.
And how I wish you happiness,
so i wish that you'll be mine,
wish we would realize what is true.
