RELATIONSHIP

Relationships ?

Relationships ?

Relationships ? How many guys do we know? Marriages, marriages, friendships, lovers, "follamigos", friends with the right to wipe... Whatever the label. Whether between two or more people, with or without feelings, in the end it all boils down to the same thing: give and receive, without selfishness.

The theory sounds easy. The practice... not that much.
We enter a relationship offering our best, pacting boundaries, being clear.. or at least so we believe. But almost always someone breaks that balance. Fears, doubts, half-truths, refusal to compromise, double lives appear...
And then you have to ask yourself:
Is it really worth it?
Is it worth driving hundreds of miles for someone who calls you every day, but still wants someone else?
Is it worth being asked to stay, to be told that you're important.. but they deny you the affection, intimacy or exclusivity that you sometimes also need?
Is it worth listening to "you drive me crazy" to receive a "I don't know what I want"?
No, it's not a man or woman thing. It's a people thing. Of indecisions, of fears, of ego, of playing two sides.
And there comes a point where you get tired.
We want to live, enjoy, feel... without unnecessary complications.
Couple? Each one will know what they seek.
Sex? Of course I do.
Respect ? A must have.
Because if anything should be basic in any relationship, of any kind, it's to stop playing with others.
So please: less empty words... and more consistency.
