Sometimes... life takes care of messing everything up, to shatter the ideas we had about people, about love, about what we believed for sure.
In whom you least believe,
a truth appears that changes you,
A lesson you weren't looking for,
but it ends up marking you more
than any nice word.
To whom you give least,
it is from whom you receive the most,
and that leaves a strange taste...
as if the heart could understand
not everything is measured
in what you deliver,
but in what comes without expecting it.
Where you least seek,
life surprises you,
because there are things that are not found
chasing after them,
but by letting them go.
from whom you least expect,
is who gives you the most,
and there the soul hurts a little,
because it also reveals
how long did you wait in vain
from whom I never knew how to respond.
Whom you think of least,
live someone who doesn't forget you,
someone who keeps you quiet,
without making a noise,
without asking for anything.
And who says I love you the least...
sometimes it's the one who shows it the most,
because the real love
not always need words,
but yes presence.
Such is the life...
contradiction,
unpredictable,
sometimes unfair,
but always teaching.
It takes away certainty from you
to give you truths,
pulls you away from what you want
to get closer to what you need.
And though it hurts to understand,
you learn that not everything that is obvious is real,
that not everything promised is fulfilled,
and that the most sincere
almost always arrives in silence.
In the end,
life does not respond to expectations,
respond deeply...
to what it has to be,
though you don't understand it
in the moment.
