When Dominance is labeled as arrogance

Many women will say that they deeply desire a man’s grounded dominance. His certainty, His un-moving trust in himself. His primal knowing. His embodied inner warrior that knows how to lead, hold and remain deeply rooted in himself. Yet often, when this energy is truly encountered and embodied in a man, it can suddenly become confronting to her nervous system because it requires her to relinquish control and fully feel *herself* in response to him. 👉 And instead of feeling into the truth of what is moving through her, she makes it about him👈 So what she longs for can quickly become labelled as arrogance. Not always because the man is unsafe… but because his grounded presence is bringing her face to face with the parts of herself that do not yet feel safe softening, surrendering, opening and receiving him in the fullness of his own Masculinity. So he pulls back. He begins attuning not to the fullness of himself as a man, but to her fear, her reactions and her emotional resistance because he has not yet fully learnt to trust his own masculine direction in that space. And she has not yet fully learnt how to fully receive the depth of masculine presence and energetic penetration that she claims to desire. 👉Be dominant… but not so dominant that I lose control. 👉Be grounded… but not so grounded that I feel my own chaos and vulnerability in contrast to you. 👉Lead me… but only in ways that still allow me to emotionally control the dynamic. 👉Love me deeply… but not so deeply that it breaks open the walls I have spent years building around my heart and body. 👉Hold me whilst making love, but don’t ravage me and break me open, I might actually experience the feeling of being loved by God.. Because true masculine presence will naturally pull to the surface every place within a woman that does not yet feel safe being seen, felt and fully exposed within his Masculine Light. And equally, a woman’s openness and receptivity (or lack thereof) will bring to the surface every place within a man that still does not fully trust himself in his leadership, direction and embodied truth. A polarised connection exposes everything within two people that is still asking to be healed, loved and brought back into harmony and wholeness within.
